FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2019 53
In July, 12 members of the 4x4 Seasons drove their off-roaders up
to Silverwood Lake. After leaving pavement, the group headed up
the hills on Pilot Rock Trail, often looking down on the lake far below.
Descending down the back side of the mountain into the valley, the
trail crossed several streams in shady pine tree forests. It was not a
difficult drive, but certainly one of the most scenic and enjoyable.
The group ended up in Lake Arrowhead for a great Mexican lunch
at Papagayo's.
Come and join us if you own a 4x4 or would like to ride along
with one of our members. We meet in the Arts & Crafts Room on
the first Tuesday of each month at 6 pm, to plan the upcoming trip
on Thursday, two days later. Any questions can be answered by Rick
Brower at (951) 255-7119 or Don Fant at (951) 381-1972. ~ Don

Beaumont and surviving the heat. We had our annual RV club

excellent food.
By the time you read this, we will be back from our August trip to
Chula Vista.
However, we are planning trips to Mesa Verde, Colorado in
September, Borrego Springs in October and Pechanga in November.
We meet the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm in The Lodge;
or you can contact Bob Cooper at (951) 769-6352 or Larry Z at (909)
553-2798 for more information. ~ Larry Z
