Event Systems Saturday, June 8: Home Tour & "The Ravelers" in concert… Do we have your attention now? Great! Then continue reading for information on some really fun fund raisers for our community. The time is fast approaching for our third "Outdoor Living Tour." People love touring the beautiful homes and gardens of our community. If you have a uniquely decorated home and/or garden that you would like to show off, now is the time. Unique yards, vegetable gardens, desertscape, water features, pools and hot tubs… they all get attention on this tour. While many homeowners on the tour open their homes as well as their landscaping, this is not necessary if you only want to show off your back yard. A new addition to this year's tour is a focus on front yard treatments. Many of the newer homes on the hill have to maintain their own front yards. This had really brought some creativity into the neighborhood, as we all have the same ARC regulations and restrictions. There are some absolutely beautiful front yards with layered concrete terracing, rose gardens, desert plantings and more. Homes displaying front yard treatments only are welcome on the tour this year. If you feel your home or yard would be a nice addition to our tour, please contact Teri DiMarino-Davidson at (951) 769-4345 or e-mail her at K9styler@aol.com. Admission wristbands are $5 each and go on sale at the Lodge the morning of June 8. Homes and gardens are open from 10 am to 4 pm and all proceeds go toward the enhancement and maintenance of the audio/visual equipment in the Ballroom and throughout the community. June 8, will be a busy day here at Four Seasons, as the ESC is hosting another fundraising concert. Anyone who has seen the rock 'n roll band "The Ravelers" knows these four guys are nothing but talent and fun! They play "our kind of music," all of the oldies (with some newbies mixed in) and will absolutely have you on your feet dancing. Ask any of the residents here who are familiar with them. Tickets are $25 each and go on sale on April 1, for this concert-seating event. Refreshments will be served during the intermission. This is an evening that should not be missed! Once again, all proceeds go toward the enhancement and maintenance of the audio/visual equipment here at Four Seasons. Our volunteers work very hard behind the scenes, making functions more enjoyable through the upgraded audio and visual equipment. Many new residents may not be aware of how much has been done, all through the generous contributions of the residents. TheBallroom, while large and attractive, has been a sound nightmare from the beginning and the additions of soundboards, lighting and a portable stage have given us some flexibility in our productions, along with vastly improved sound. If you would like to volunteer to help in this committee, please contact Roland Harrah at (951) 845-1734 or e-mail him at rolandthanh@msn.com. Our ESC family can always use a few new additions. Bottom photo, Dr. Granet and resident singer Dariell Bautista. The Light-Hearted Piano Concert was packed with happy residents and guests who were able to enjoy the wonderful music played by Johanna Ballard, Barbara Kwiatkowska-Amerton, Ph.D and our celebrity pianist Dr. John Granet. The audience was entertained and amazed when we pulled up resident singer Dariell Bautista to sing along with Dr. Granet. There is something so satisfying about seeing two professionals who have never had time together, instantly get in sync with each other and pull off a show as if they had spent months preparing. Be looking forward to more fun and surprising piano concerts in the future, both as sing-alongs to accompany a friday night dinner and as formal recitals such as will be held on November 1. If you missed Dr. Granet this time, he will also be participating in the Formal Classical Piano Concert, so please make yourself available to hear this incredible musician.
