46 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | OCTOBER 2019 | Paisano Club The Paisano Club will be celebrating Halloween on Fri., Oct. 4 in the South Clubhouse. Doors open at 5:30 pm. The decorating committee will be showing us their artistic best as they transform the Clubhouse into autumn splendor with a spooky flair! Come in costume if you like. Thomas Catering will offer a delicious fare of bread bowls with chili or broccoli cheese soup with all the toppings, salad, cornbread and cake for dessert. We always hope to give you an accurate menu, but it is subject to change. Entertainment will be presented by David Ambrose, for your listening and dancing pleasure. We ushered in September with a 50s sock hop. Fun was had by all! Thanks to Peggy Knox and her decorating committee and Thomas Catering for another great meal. A gentle reminder to our growing group, reservations are a must! Checks for our monthly event can be dropped off at 610 Torrey Pines Road (box by front door) or given to Carol Choisnet at the event for the next month's dinner. The South Clubhouse can only seat 105 people, and reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. We do have a wait list for our events. Remember - CALL JERI WALL… If you need to cancel and would like to be reimbursed, you must do so one week prior to the event (the Friday before). If you need to do a late cancel, please call Jeri Wall by 3 pm the day of the event. She then can arrange for you to pick up your meal and she will be able call the next person in line on the wait list. The only requirement to be a member is that you enjoy having fun, like to meet new people and have a hearty appetite! Don't worry about not knowing anyone, we will always seat you at a table with fun loving people and we will do our best to honor seating requests! Questions?
