Get ready for belly laughs because Comedy Night is Oct. 12 at the North Clubhouse at 6 pm, $15 pp, appetizers included. There will be two hilarious comedians, one of whom is Jason Love. They will keep you laughing for 45 minutes each. Bring your happy faces and enjoy the merriment with your friends. It is BYOB and don't forget to bring a glass. Nov. 17 Killer Dueling Pianos: This is our third year for the very popular Killer Dueling Pianos. Get your friends and relatives together and sign up for this Vegas style show being held in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom from 4 to 7 pm, doors will open at 3 pm. Appealing to all ages, the Killer Dueling Pianos will have you clapping, singing and laughing with their special brand of entertainment. With a catalogue of songs ranging from the likes of Frank Sinatra to Elvis Presley to Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga everyone is sure to have a fun time. This event is open to all Sun Lakes residents and their guests. There will be table seating in the round, and appetizers available for purchase. Cost is $15 pp for the entertainment made payable to YAH. The Club will offer an appetizer bar for $12, tax and tip included payable to SLCC on the day of the event. The doors will open at 3 pm to accommodate those wanting to participate in the appetizer offer, and food will be served until the start of the show. If you have a group you would like to sit with, submit your checks together and drop them off to Sandy Richman, 6253 Ponte Verde Circle, (951) 769- 7595. As a courtesy to the kitchen, please indicate the number of guests who plan to partake or not partake of the appetizers. Look for flyers in the Main Clubhouse lobby display for more information. Social Singles Our next dinner meeting is Fri., Oct. 18 at 5:45 pm in the South Clubhouse. "When black cats prowl and pumpkins gleam… may luck be yours on Halloween!" Yes, it's Halloween! Come join us for a fun-filled evening with your friends. DJ's will be serving a delicious Lemon Beurre Blanc (what?) chicken, roasted red potatoes, veggie medley, fruit salad, rolls AND lemon cake raspberry mouse. We will have an instructor getting us all up and teaching easy line dancing. How fun is that? Prizes will be given for the "funniest, scariest or most beautiful" costume. Guests living outside of Sun Lakes and are friends of a resident will be $20 pp. If you live in Sun Lakes you may come as a guest one time only for $20, and then you WILL WANT to join the club.
