50 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | OCTOBER 2019 | Lady Executive Golf Welcome to Lady Executive Golfers (LEGS)! We are a 9-hole club on the Executive Course. We play weekly on Tuesday mornings with mixed play, fun scrambles and a monthly tournament. In addition, we participate with other clubs for 18-hole tournaments and "away games" a few times during the year. Beginning Oct. 1, we will meet at 8:30 am with a tee time at 9 am. The third Tuesday of each month is our monthly meeting and lunch ($10) at the South Clubhouse. Guests welcome! For lunch information, call Evon Montague, (951) 769-3279. Lady Niners Here's to you hearty members who played throughout September as some of you competed in the three-day Club Championship. It will be exciting to hear who the Club Champion is when it is announced at our December luncheon. Now in October we are eager to host the Lady Niner and Women Golfer Tournament on Oct. 31. It always ends up being a very entertaining day. This is a day you won't want to miss. After the golf, we are together for the luncheon at 12 noon in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. The rest of October starts with our general meeting at 10:30 am on Oct. 3 followed by our "shotgun scramble" at 12:30 pm. All other Thursdays are "tee times" starting at 8 am. We have Cup Day on the 10th and a "fun round" on the 17th. Lady Niners enjoy nine holes of golf every Thursday. We each carry a GHIN handicap which means we can play outside golf tournaments. Now is the time to act! Saturday Morning Golf Are you still working and looking for a weekend golf option? Are you interested in sharpening your short game skills? Do you enjoy having a relaxed game of golf? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may wish to join our Saturday Morning Golf Group. We play on the Executive Course. Our membership includes men and women with a large range of handicaps. Our members share a love of the game. We have shotgun starts. Most of the year, October through June, the check in time is 8:30 am with a 9 am shotgun. In the summer, July through September, the check in time is 8 am with a 8:30 am shotgun. We hold monthly tournaments, an annual Club Championship competition, and quarterly dinners. Membership application forms are available in the North Pro Shop. Annual dues are only $15.
