| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | OCTOBER 2019 | 25 Women In Touch (WIT) golf Cart Club As many of you know, there is a very special group of ladies here in the community who have bonded together to form the WIT Team. This group of ladies all share a common bond, the loss of the love of their life. This group of ladies meets the first Monday of every month in the Ballroom at 5 pm for dinner and lively conversation. We are your support group and this is your invitation to come join us and be a part of the WIT Team here at Four Seasons. Do you have a golf cart? If so, did you know we have a Golf Cart Club? We do! We'd love for you to join us. In the upcoming months look for information about social activities planned for this club. You might have seen some of our members as they distribute flags throughout our community in observance of patriotic holidays. So… charge up your golf cart and get ready for some fun! Happily, our little group is really taking off. We're meeting new people and enjoying interesting conversations while working on various projects. Interests so far seem to be primarily crocheting and various styles of knitting with skill levels from beginner to very experienced. So if you're interested in any type of needle work, please join us on the first and fourth Friday of each month at 1 pm in the Craft Room at the Lodge. Hope to see you there! If you have any questions, please contact: Donna Morrell 951-385-3808 or Maggie Fussell (951) 388-7640. Needle Me TGIF Oct. 4: We took a hand count at our September TGIF and will be bringing KARAOKE back in October. We are working hard to make our Karaoke work better. Be patient as this is a first venture for us. We did have a new resident in attendance and he has a professional Karaoke set-up. We are hoping to get him to bring it to our November TGIF. Thanks to those who did sing. They were great and enjoyed by all. To save some time, please email me if you have a song you would like to do in October (charliekopp@gmail.com). That way our Karaoke leader can find it before and be ready for Oct. 4. Nov. 1: Plan to join us in November for more good food, friends and neighbors as well as Karaoke time. Spread the word. TGIF and Karaoke is a lot of fun! Many residents have told us how much they enjoyed it. Don't be shy. We look forward to seeing you. Bring a dish to share with 8 – 10, your own utensils, dishes and beverage of your choice. We will provide hot water, instant coffee, tea and ice. Don't forget our raffle. Tickets are two for $1. We always have some great prizes. Book Club Vintage Voices All readers interested in great discussions, occasional guest speakers, and movies, join us the third Monday of every month. Our book for October is Washington Black by Esi Edugyan. We will be meeting at my house at 669 Weir Drive at 2 pm. Hope to see all of you. Any questions, contact Vicki Allen-Hitt at (951)926- 6336 or vhitt@hotmail.com. Vintage Voices is looking for anyone who has experience singing in a choir or a group before please come to our rehearsal Oct. 14 at 6 pm. For questions or location contact Leola Kindt at (951) 325-7095 or Betty Crase at (951) 926-5029.
