On Aug. 8, members of the 4x4 Seasons off-road
group drove out I-10, up Chiracco grade to Box
Canyon, where pavement was left in the rearview
mirror. The little known Meccacopia Trail was
the destination, a sandy riverbed run with great
majestic sandstone walls. It was a beautiful day, a
little warm at 119 degrees, with lunch at Denny's to
end the day.
Come and join us if you own a 4x4 or would like
to ride along with one of our members. We meet
in the Arts & Crafts Room on the first Tuesday of
each month at 6 pm to plan the upcoming trip on
Thursday, two days later. Any questions can be

4x4 Seasons
All Seasons RV
The RV group traveled to Chula Vista RV Resort
this past August after our annual barbecue. The
campsite is one of the best and the weather was
great. Some played golf while others explored San
Diego. We visited some restaurants and had an
excellent potluck, traveled to Coronado, and ran
the dogs at Dog Beach.
We are planning trips to Borrego Springs in
October, Pechanga in November, and our annual
Christmas bash in December.
We meet the fourth Tuesday of the month at
