10 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2019 Hi, my name is Maegan Crother. I work under the direction of the Activities Department and I wanted to personally introduce myself as your new Movie Theater Ambassador. I, like you, thoroughly enjoy movies and it is an absolute joy to serve you all and provide this wonderfully enchanting form of entertainment on a weekly basis. I'm thrilled to see so many of you regularly attending and enjoying The Lodge Movie Theater and it is because of you that I'm always looking for better ways to improve your experience within the theater. Heading into a new season, I want to inform you of a new system for movie requests and to remind you of an established, and efficient guideline. First off, the movie theater exists for the enjoyment of every individual residing within this community. One way you've been helping me to know what you're interested in watching is through your movie theater requests. Request forms can be found and submitted at The Lodge front desk as well as at the community website, fourseasonsbeaumont.org. Once logged in, select the Calendar feature, then Movie Schedule. You will find a link for the request form there. With our new procedures, you will be notified twice when your film is scheduled. I will personally call the number provided on your request form and send you an email notifying you of the date your requested movie will show. As you are filling out your requests, please use a current phone number and email so you will receive the notifications. If you miss the showing of your requested film, you will need to resubmit a request if you still wish to see that film. After submitting a second request, there will be a 30-day waiting period before the movie will be shown again. This, of course, does not apply if the scheduled movie was not played due to a broken disc, poor internet connection, or if a movie rental didn't arrive. If this is the case, then an additional request form is not required. The film will be rescheduled as soon as possible. The Theater is for everyone's enjoyment and I want to provide you with a different and exciting schedule of movies each week. There are so many movies to choose from and, in the best interest of all, I would like to refrain from having too many repeats within a short duration. Additionally, I ask that when you are attending the movie theater that you comply with our movie theater guidelines. You can review these guidelines online or request a copy from the front desk. However, one guideline I would like to emphasize states, "Movies are selected, advertised, and set up in advance. Requests to change the movies, regardless of the number of guests, cannot be accommodated." If a movie has been scheduled for a specific day, please refrain from trying to have the movie changed as it was more than likely a personal request. I want to serve you as best as I can and that means I need to be accountable and show what was advertised to all the residents. The only time The Lodge attendants will make an exception is, again, if a movie did not come in on time, if the disc has a defect, or if the Internet is failing during a movie stream. Finally, I would like to thank you all for your understanding and support as I try to improve your theater experience. I'm grateful for your help and it is my pleasure to serve you in this way.
