I love the smell of cinnamon at this time of year. What is it in that
fragrance that brings a "feeling" of fall and settling in for the season?
Our FREE classes this month will be making holiday ornaments.
Pencil in Oct. 17 and 24 on your calendars. The sign-up list is in the
Sewing Room, and the more, the merrier!
Sewing, Etc. is not just for garment making or quilting. The ETC.
is a large part of our group, and we are always looking to expand our
learning of new crafts or hobbies. If there is something you would
like to learn, or just refresh your memory, let us know what that is.
We'll do our best to help!
Our regular schedule: You will hear cheerful conversation (and
sometimes a lot of laughter) in the Sewing Room on Tuesday evenings
and Friday afternoons as we all work on our own projects, be they
crocheting, knitting, sewing, or what-ever. Thursday mornings could
be your time for open sewing or special projects. Tuesday afternoons
are bustling with MaryLu Belisle and the knitters. On the second
Saturday we have a 'Sew-In', and on the fourth Saturday the Wearable
Arts group will be up to something fun with Pam Bechill. A complete
list of happenings is on the Bulletin Board in the Sewing Room.
If anyone would like to participate in our activities and is unable
to get to the Clubhouse, please contact Chris Sanderson at (858) 442-
1834. We have volunteers ready to pick you up!
Please visit our website, lovingly updated by Terri Eckhardt.
