6 | OHCC LIVING | OCTOBER 2019 | HOA OFFICE CLOSED The HOA Office will be closed for the following holidays in November: Mon., Nov. 11 for Veteran's Day, and Thurs., Nov. 28 and Fri., Nov. 29 for Thanksgiving. SHRED DAY Shred Day is Sat., Oct. 19, from 10 am to 1 pm. Securitas/Community Patrol is sponsoring this event, so clean out those desks and closets. The drop-off point will be outside the Front Gate, along Cannon Road (to the left), similar set-up as is done for the annual decal process. We appreciate Securitas hosting this event INSPIRATION HILL BRICKS We are still accepting brick orders for Inspiration Hill. If you would still like to purchase a brick, please see us at the HOA Office. NAME TAGS If you are interested in purchasing an Ocean Hills Country Club name tag, they are available to order for $10 at the Clubhouse. These are ingenious to help you remember the names of the new friends you've made. RULE CHANGES If you would like to propose a rule change to the Master Board, you can find the "Suggested Rules and Regulations Changes Form" at the HOA Office or on our website at www. oceanhillscountryclub.com under "Forms." E-BLASTS Visit our website at oceanhillscountryclub.com to register to receive important email blasts or contact the HOA Office for access. PETS Please make sure that your pets are vaccinated and have a nametag with your contact information so they can be returned to you just in case they happen to wander away from home. Pets are a part of the family and we want to make sure they can be returned. Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times unless in the dog park. Although, pets are not permitted in the Clubhouse, if you have a service animal please contact the General Manager at the HOA Office so we can obtain proper documentation. Please be a good neighbor and discourage your pet from going potty in other people's front yards. However, if they do- please remove the waste. Doggie Waste Bags are available at various locations throughout the community. LANDLINES Homeowners who lease their homes are obligated to make tenants aware in the lease, of the EMS (Emergency Monitoring System) requirement to have a land line in order for the system to be operational. If you choose not to have a landline, then a waiver needs to be signed and the system should have a label affixed to it indicating that it is not operational. Likewise, if you do not have a landline, the smoke detector will not be operational. You may install a battery-operated smoke detector, but it will not notify the front gate if it goes off. Every year we have to test the EMS, (this only takes a few minutes) please help the Patrol Officer when they call to schedule an appointment. If you have questions, please call the HOA Office at (760) 758-7080 for more information. GOLF BALLS If you accidentally hit someone's home with a Golf Ball, please report it to the Clubhouse immediately. STREET SWEEPING is performed on the first Tuesday of every month. Please be sure your cars are off the street by 7 am, you may park on the street again after 12 noon. Please remind your guests and visitors as well. IRRIGATION This is a reminder to check your personal irrigation system for leaks, breaks and proper timing so as not to over water. Also report any irrigation problems for the common area to our office by filling out a work order on www.oceanhillscountryclub. com or visiting the HOA Office. ALTERNATE ADDRESS?
