| OHCC LIVING | OCTOBER 2019 | 41 Bocce Club The next Member Meeting will be Nov. 7 at noon. Lunch will be served, RSVP required. Next year's officers will be elected at this meeting. Look for the announcement soon. The last Summer Bocce + BBQ was Sept. 15. Casino Night is upon us on Oct. 5. Lots of fun and games. Time to be announced. The Holiday Dance and Potluck will be Dec. 7. Details to follow later. Please save the dates. Please remember that this is a social club. Please be polite to all your fellow players and include all you can into the play schedule. The next tournament is scheduled for Oct. 21, 23, and 25. Mike Simons will have sign-up sheets ready for all of you. Come out and play. League: The second league has started and is in full bloom. Standings will be announced in next month's letter... Rule: Only bocces made during Club scheduled events are counted and listed on the bocce sheets in glass case. The company that installed the new courts met with OHCC maintenance and the officers of the Bocce club. We all learned something new about court maintenance and it is paying off. A tip of the hat to the OHCC maintenance guys for the fine job that they are doing on the courts. Play is getting better and the new courts are holding up well this is evidenced by the number of Bocces that are being scored now.
