46 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | NOVEMBER 2019 | Paisano Club The Paisano Club welcomes you to start the holiday season with an old-fashioned Thanksgiving dinner, with all the trimmings and pumpkin pie. Join us Fri., Nov. 8 at 5:30 pm for an evening of fun and friendship. Please note date change for November only, this is the second Friday of the month. The decorating committee will transform the South Clubhouse into holiday splendor. Thomas Catering will be preparing our holiday meal. November will be game night, provided by Gerry Fawcett. It is sure to be a memorable evening. We celebrated Halloween at our October get-together. Those who wanted to come in costume added to our Halloween fun. Thomas Catering served comfort foods and we were entertained by the talented Dave Ambrose. His rendition of God Bless the U.S.A. gave us goosebumps! Every month the creativity of the decorating committee, led by Peggy Knox and her hard-working team, wow us with their awesome talent. A gentle reminder to our growing group, reservations are a must. Checks for our monthly event can be dropped off at 610 Torrey Pines Road (box by front door) or given to Carol Choisnet at the event for the next month's dinner. The South Clubhouse can only seat 105 people, and reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. We do have a wait list for our events. Remember, call Jeri Wall if you need to cancel and would like to be reimbursed, you must do so one week prior to the event (the Friday before). If you need to do a late cancel, please call Jeri Wall by 3 pm the day of the event. She can arrange for you to pick up your meal and she will be able call the next person in line on the wait list. The only requirement to be a member is that you enjoy having fun, like to meet new people and have a hearty appetite! Don't worry about not knowing anyone, we will always seat you at a table with fun-loving people and we will do our best to honor seating requests. We strive to provide accurate information regarding the menu, but it is always subject to change. Questions?
