| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | NOVEMBER 2019 | 25 Women In Touch (WIT) As many of you know, there is a very special group of ladies here in the community who have bonded together to form the WIT Team. This group of ladies all share a common bond, the loss of the love of their life. This group of ladies meets the first Monday of every month in the Ballroom at 5 pm for dinner and lively conversation. We are your support group and this is your invitation to come join us and be a part of the WIT Team here at Four Seasons. I would like to thank the Board of Directors for approving Needle Me as a Four Seasons Community Recreational Club. It's really interesting to see some of the different projects that have been created by some of our members. One of our ladies crochets scarves and hats to donate for the homeless. Pictured with this article are two afghans that Donna Morrell crocheted for her grandchildren. I'm sure they will keep them nice and warm for many years. So if you're interested in any type of needle work, please join us on the first and fourth Friday of each month at 1 pm in the Arts & Crafts Room at the Lodge. Hope to see you there! If you have any questions, please contact: Donna Morrell (951) 385-3808 or Maggie Fussell (951) 388-7640. Needle Me TGIF Nov. 1: We apologize, however November TGIF is CANCELED. This cancellation is so we can all enjoy an outstanding exhibit in the Ballroom to honor and remember over 750 veterans from California who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country since September 11, 2001. You won't want to miss "Remembering Our Fallen" in the Ballroom Oct. 30 to Nov. 5 from 8 am to 7 pm daily. Dec. 6: Join us on Fri., Dec. 6, to start out the holidays. We are planning a fun evening of holiday music, good friends and food. Maybe we can get some of our Karaoke friends to come up and start a sing-along. We look forward to seeing all of you. Bring a dish to share with eight to 10, your own utensils, dishes and beverage of your choice. We will provide hot water, instant coffee, tea and ice. Don't forget our raffle. Tickets are two for $1. Book Club All readers interested in great discussions, occasional guest speakers, and movies, join us the third Monday of every month. We're on hiatus for November. Our book for December is Leopard At The Door by Jennifer McVeigh. We will be meeting at my house at 669 Weir Drive at 2 pm. Hope to see all of you in December.
