Billiards 28 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | NOVEMBER 2019 | We extend this invitation to join our pool league, which plays Tuesdays, starting early October, usually 10 am until 1pm. We also get together with beginners and "rusty" players on Mondays at 3 pm. A group plays Wednesdays at 3 pm for a "handicapped" tournament that helps players get competitive. On Fridays we play a very competitive tournament for those that are serious players. For information contact Ron Cordero at (909) 519-9095 or Ed Sanders at (951) 567- 0959. Happy Campers RV Club Our Happy Campers RV Club has had a little bit of turn-over this year but is still going strong with more trips in the planning. We are so grateful to Bob and Ann Oxley for their years of dedication to the club and to Linda Wetter for the many hours of planning and arranging activities over the past number of years. And a big thank you to Melody Lewis who took the reins as "activity director/ president" the last few months. After returning from two weeks in Yosemite and Calaveras County in May, another trip to Pismo Beach in September where about 20 RV'ers spent nine nights enjoying friendship and memorable times. More trips are in the planning stage with a possible trip to Quartzsite, Arizona in mid-January and other ideas for a few nights at Pechanga or Pala casino(s). We are always open to new ideas for camping as well as our favorite oldies too. To new Four Seasons folks who might like to join the Happy Campers RV Club, we meet the first Saturday of the month in the Multipurpose Room at 10 am. We encourage donations of canned food: beans, soups or fruit, cereal and pasta (no expired dates please) for the Hemet Food Pantry. Co-Chairs for the Happy Campers are Cynthia Ellingworth, cynthia0430@verizon.net and/or Julie Muldoon, muldoon_julie@ hotmail.com." Come join the fun! We play on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays from 7:30 am to noon. We invite anyone that would like to learn how to play Pickleball to come on down the fourth Saturday of the month at 8 am for lessons.
