| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | NOVEMBER 2019 | 5 General Manager's Message By Rick Ruth Dear Four Seasons Residents, Did you know that 25 new residents moved in this year? For those of you that are new, and have questions about the community or the goings on, there are several resources available to you. This news magazine that you're reading right now is one of them. Another informational source is the management office. If you want to view documents such as the board meeting minutes, financials or the rules and regulations, you can find them on the Four Seasons Hemet website. You can also contact the Lodge office at (951) 325-8188. I received a "Courtesy" letter, now what? The Board recently held some hearings and one of the owners who met with the Board was not aware that they could have avoided the hearing altogether by contacting the management team and working with them to correct their issue. What they did was ignore the "courtesy" letter, and ignore the "reminder" notice. They did act on the Hearing Notice and attended the hearing. As with all hearings, the Board has the duty to conduct the hearing in a proper manner and once they decide on an action, a hearing results letter goes out. This means eight people spent time on the issue, letters were written by staff, stationery and envelopes were used along with the cost of postage (four letters plus one sent certified) for a situation that could have been avoided had the resident contacted our office in the beginning. The point in all of this is to simply call us or stop by and we are happy to take that time to assist the owner. We work with dozens of owners who receive courtesy letters and that works very well and usually results in the violation or issue getting closed. If the issue is solved from the courtesy letter stage, all of those other costs and time spent can be saved. So, if you happen to receive a letter from us and have questions, please contact us and let us know. Please don't ignore it/us. This holiday season is going to be another really special time at the Lodge. Right after Thanksgiving, the Lodge, garden area gazebo and the main entry will be beautifully decorated with LED lights. This year, the Board chose multi-colored lights that will give the lodge entry area a really special look. Each year, a lot of folks give of their time to transform the Lodge into a special place to be enjoyed by all. Thank you volunteers! For those of you that are new owners, you'll be delighted at the transformation. The holiday decorating committee could also use your help. Let's take a moment to think about the things everyone should be thankful for: health, family, friends, neighbors and the wonderful community you live in. May you and your loved ones have a peaceful and blessed Thanksgiving holiday!
