8 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | NOVEMBER 2019 | Fall is here with cool weather and fall colors, even if the only color is in the Lodge lobby. I have mentioned to many of you that fall is my favorite season and Thanksgiving my favorite holiday. I love to cook and share with my friends and family, but most of all I am thankful for those friends and family and for all the blessings I have — in my home life and my work life. Thank you to each of you for contributing to my blessings. I hope each of you will come to see the "Remembering Our Fallen" from California display in the Ballroom Oct. 30 - Nov. 5. This display honors over 750 fallen warriors who have given their life in defense of our country, since Sept 11, 2001. There will be an Opening Ceremony at 10 am on Oct. 30 out on the Plaza. The display will be open from 8 am to 7pm every day in the Ballroom. Please come and pay your respects for these veterans. If you haven't already, now is the time to get your tickets for Thanksgiving Dinner in the Ballroom, put on by Francisco and his team from the Bistro. They will be serving all your favorites. Get your friends and family together… why cook at home when you can have this great buffet. Also, you get to choose your table, so make sure you know how many will be coming. The Social Committee is putting on a fun event, Casino Night on Nov. 9… this is a first for Four Seasons. I hope you have your tickets. Holiday Home Tour tickets go on sale Nov. 7. It's fun to go see all the decorations. New Year's Eve tickets go on sale Nov. 12 with a great entertainment and food planned. And finally, I want to invite you all to our "Welcome to the Holidays Open House" in the Ballroom on Thurs., Dec. 5 from 5 to 7 pm. Have a glass of champagne or sparkling cider, an appetizer or two, and enjoy some live piano music by various artists from our community, and take time to tour and enjoy the decorations in the Lodge. Let's have some fun welcoming in the holiday season. Happy Thanksgiving and I will see you around the Lodge! A Note From Your Activities Director By Louise Ceccarelli
