Lynne Condé MSN, PHN, NE, Public Health Nurse, Kaiser Urgent Care Nurse, and nutrition educator will serve as President. Many of us know Lynne from her interactive and fun presentation "Eating for a Healthier New You." Lynne is an accomplished swimmer who incorporates all four strokes in her workout. Laynee Strelic was elected secretary. Laynee says "I have found water aerobics to be a great physical therapy, easing joint pain while building muscle. I am addicted!" She spent many years as a water safety and backyard swim instructor. Layne brings tremendous enthusiasm and personality to the club. Bob Clarke returns for the fourth year as Treasurer. Bob is a swimmer, musician, golfer, dancer and all around great guy. Bob offers continuity and a balanced budget to the club. Several candidates are considering Vice President however as of this publication's deadline, the position remains available. The VP does not have specific job responsibilities except to back up the President. This an ideal opportunity to bring your own skill set to the community. Please contact any of the current or in coming board at ohccswimclub@gmail.com. Past President Joanne Greene sold her home in OHCC and moved back to New Jersey. Joanne had many good ideas and was responsible for the very popular "speaker series." She was a genuine asset to the club and she will be missed. Leesa Singer teaches her very popular water aerobics class every Monday, Thursday and Friday at 9 am. The one hour classes are $5 each. Her guided workouts are a great way to stay in shape through the Holiday Season! The Swim & Wellness Club thanks Mary McGhee for two years of service as secretary. We also thank Robin Ryan for many years of dedicated service to the club. See you at the pool, rain or shine!
