26 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2019 The Social Committee is proud to introduce Loretta Ramsey as our new Chairperson. She has been a Social Committee member involved in numerous activities during her time with us. Our team is excited about the work she has done in the past and we welcome Loretta to her new role in the future. The New Year's Eve Party tickets were sold out quickly so thank you all for your support in what will be a wonderful event. Pam Morales and Loretta Ramsey are the Co-Chairpersons for this amazing evening and they continue to work hard with follow- up and details. The evening will consist of champagne, appetizers, dinner, dessert, and music to the theme of In the Midnight Hour. Another bit of excitement to share is that the 2020 Calendar has been drafted and planning has already started. We believe you can look forward to some wonderful events for the coming year. Our next big event will be in February so keep your eyes and ears open. Meanwhile enjoy your holidays as we will continue to keep you informed. ~ Joyce Hogue, jhogue54@gmail.com Social Committee Loretta Ramsey, our new Chairperson With the weather getting crisper and the feel of the holidays in the air, it's hard to believe there is less than a month until we ring in the New Year. Time sure flies when you are enjoying life at Four Seasons! December will add to the traffic moving in our community with increased delivery trucks from online gift orders and guests visiting their loved ones for the holidays. Please use caution and patience both inside and outside our community to ensure you arrive to your destination safe and sound. The Safety Committee had a very busy year and we accomplished quite a bit. We installed several new stop signs, crosswalks and yield signs to safely move pedestrian traffic as well as motor traffic around the community, and we moved the limit line forward at the Crooked Creek gate to enable safer lefts turns onto Highland Springs. We installed decorative guard rails at the dead end of both Mock Bluff and Alyssa Flowers and we replaced previously painted markings with thermal plastic stop markers and bars. Going into the new year, the Safety Committee will continue its work to keep our community safe. We will continue to remind everyone our speed limit on Four Seasons Circle is 30 mph and on all other streets 25 mph, and urge everyone to please slow down and be aware of pedestrians entering crosswalks or crossing the street. For the safety of our golf cart drivers, there is no parking allowed anywhere on Four Seasons Circle. The Safety Committee would like to wish everyone Happy Holidays and a very safe 2020. The Safety Committee meets the first Tuesday of each month at 10 am in the RCN Main Room. Everyone is welcome to come and see what we do. We welcome new thoughts and ideas and would like to hear from our community. ~ Kathy Craven, kathycraven@rocketmail.com Safety Committee
