42 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2019 Happy Holidays! Regardless of your religion or culture, we hope your holiday season includes happy times with family and friends. 'Tis the season of fun, giving, and sharing with others. Speaking of the holidays, here is a reminder to attend our… A Country Christmas, Friday, Dec. 6 and/or Saturday, Dec. 7. Tickets for this show are both free and required. If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, please hurry over to The Lodge and check the availability with the attendant at the Front Desk. In the event of a sell-out, don't despair. Leave your name, contact info and number of tickets needed on their cancellation list. There are always last minute tickets that become available and get turned back in. It's going to be open, theater-style seating. No reserved seating, it's based on first come, first served. This show is going to be one of those that will be talked about well past its performance date. The Four Seasons Singers Choir have been rehearsing for many months and are sure to impress you with their beautiful song choices and melodic, harmonizing voices. It's always fun to see our talented neighbors singing, dancing, and acting, entertaining you for an enjoyable evening out. It's so nice that this show is family-friendly for all ages. Open Casting Call/Audition for Radio Theater Show - Tuesday, Dec. 10 in the third section of the Ballroom at 6 pm. This show is Saturday, Feb. 29, with mandatory attendance at the technical and dress rehearsals the Thursday and Friday just prior to the performance. Please make sure that you don't have a conflict on any of those dates. There will also be weekly rehearsals starting in early January. I will have two Radio scripts from the 1930s - 50s, with parts to be cast in both. In the case of the Radio Shows, you will have scripts to read/act from and there is hands-on coaching at the rehearsals. No memorization needed! The big differences between the classic Radio Show and the Radio Theater Show, is that in the latter, the actors move around the stage, wear period costumes, and use props. One of the best comments I received after our last performance was, "The Performers were so good, that I totally forgot that the actors were reading from their scripts!" So come on out and audition. It's a lot of fun! If you're interested in auditioning but can't attend the casting call, please contact me to make alternate arrangements. If you have any questions, contact me via email at terimk@verizon. net or call me at home, (951) 992-9156 or on my cell, (602) 308-0919. ~ Teri Meyers-Kelman Performing Arts Club A Countr y Christmas, Holiday Show on 12/6 & 12/7. Ticke ts required! Radio The ater Show - Open Casting Call for Male & Female Actors in The Lodge The ater, 12/10, 6 pm
