44 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2019 Our mission to learn, share, and have fun with photography starts each meeting with an intro to new members and upcoming events, a segment of tips and tricks, and presentation on format, style or gear use. We continue with sharing the previous month's photo challenge works and the selection of the next month's photo challenge, an open discussion on outings, and topic selection for the upcoming month's details and schedule. The three images posted with this article are two very nice works from our Rembrandt Lighting Challenge: one by John Baeyertz (top left photo) and the other by Jacque Sneddon (top right photo). The third image was taken by RaNae Stueve during the Tide Pool trips (photo right). Our November meeting included a deep dive into smart phone photography tips and tricks, and we all learned how to use our smart phones to take outstanding sharable images. Our photo challenge in November was Landscape Photography. All members were excited to get out there and create images of our fall season here in SoCal. Photo outings included a second trip to Crystal Cove State Park to explore the tide pools, photographing the Four Seasons Car Show, and an invitation to photograph a tennis competition at The Courts. Our future plans for outings include two very exciting events shared with Steve Edelman and the birding club to spot raptors at the Potrero Creek Wildlife area and a future bird/photo walk to the San Jacinto Wildlife area to spot migrating waterfowl. So many interesting and exciting things in store for the Four Seasons Photography Club! Please drop in to see what all the excitement is about. We meet on the third Tuesday of every month in the RNC Main Room at 6:30 pm. ~ ReNae Stueve, renaestueve@ outlook.com PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB Travel Group We had a great time at our combined potluck and meeting last month where we discussed the coach trip to California's Central Coast coming up on Feb. 24-28. As this year comes quickly to an end, the steering committee wants to thank all of you for joining us on this renewed adventure. We appreciate all the feedback and hope to bring you new and exciting experiences in 2020. To help us kick off the year and gain a focus on what we want to do next, please attend our next meeting in the RCN Main Room at 10 am on Jan. 18. ~ Kris Corbett
