22 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | December 2019 | Thanksgiving was the start of our holiday gatherings. Our tummies are full and we are now getting ready for Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa holidays. It's hard to even say "December." The fall colors, and the cool weather is upon us. This is the busiest time of the year for family, friends and good food. Holidays here we come. The past few months we have accomplished many good things. Our Open House Sock Hop, was a great success. Increasing our membership to 57 members. The support and fun, positive energy, has contributed to our success as a club. We also promote and support a meaningful Non Profit Organization called Valley Restart Shelter. In October it was time to visit the apple orchards with lunch at Apple Annie's In November there was a tour to Kimberly Crest Mansion in Redlands. We had 25 ladies attend this event. Sorry if you missed it. Check out our next mansion or museum to visit. Our December event will be our Christmas Luncheon Dec. 5 at the Mission Inn with a short meeting as we will not have a monthly meeting for December. We have had a wonderful year and we are looking forward to more fun, great adventures, in the next year. Our next open meeting will be Jan. 27. For more information about our energetic, positive group, and our events and meeting please contact Lucille Gould at chm0177@ aol.com or (951) 325-8366. FS Ladies Club Women In Touch (WIT) golf Cart Club As many of you know, there is a very special group of ladies here in the community who have bonded together to form the WIT Team. This group of ladies all share a common bond, the loss of the love of their life. This group of ladies meets the first Monday of every month in the Ballroom at 5 pm for dinner and lively conversation. We are your support group and this is your invitation to come join us and be a part of the WIT Team here at Four Seasons. Thank you Dave Habig for taking this picture of the WIT Team on Oct. 7. There was a fairly large number who attended but… this is not all of the regular folks. If you missed picture taking, we hope to do this again in a month or so. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped put flags out for Veteran's Day. It was a wonderful tribute to all the veterans. The next flag event will be Dec. 7, Pearl Harbor Day. We are always looking for more flag volunteers, so if you are interested in helping, please call Don Simms or Mike Mclaughlin (951) 325-8757. The annual Golf Cart Holiday Parade will be on Dec. 7 at 5 pm. The Tailgate Party starts at 4 pm (in front of the Lodge). Decorate your carts and join in the fun! If you don't have a cart, come out and enjoy the parade and get into the holiday spirit. Don't forget to stick around for the Vintage Voices Holiday Concert at 7 pm. We're hoping to have a few special activities for the Golf Cart Club coming after the new year. Roxy Snider and a few other volunteers are planning to have some fun events for the Golf Cart Club. Watch your Herald for more info coming soon. Happy holidays to everyone, and we'll see you at the parade!
