50 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | DECEMBER 2019 | There's a wonderful opportunity mentioned below, even if you're not an RV Club Member. The Annual Sun Lakes RV Club Holiday Party is Dec. 8. It will be at the South Clubhouse, and it starts at 5 pm. You should have gotten an Evite from Sandy Alexanian in November. If you didn't, give her a call to see if there are still seats available. We had a ton of fun last year with Santa and Mrs. Claus making a special appearance, prizes, games, great food, and even greater friends. We even had a chance to donate to a good cause. I've included some pictures from last year. (Sorry, I'll try harder with the pictures this year.) The cost of the party is $20 per person for a lovely catered dinner, good friends, and special entertainment by our very own Bob Palmer. Bring your own drinks. If you would like to participate, we will be accepting unwrapped gifts for children in the local area that evening. Even if you don't attend the party, even if you're not an RV Club member, feel free to come by and drop off a gift… it's what the holiday season is all about! News about the Sedona trip will be coming out soon. May your holidays be happy and bright, and your 2020 (travels and life) be safe and enjoyable. Happy holidays, y'all! (I can say that. I've lived in Oklahoma and Texas.) Our Bible study group is non-denominational. All are welcome. We meet together every week for fellowship and study. On the first Wednesday of each month we meet for dinner before our regular meeting. Reservations for dinner are taken in the meeting the last Wednesday of each month. Bring your Bible, any version, and listen to or participate in our discussion of the evening topic. We're all learning together. We'd be delighted if you'd join us. We meet Wednesdays at 7 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Bible Study JOIN US! Do you like to sing? Sun Lakes has its own Barbershop Chorus that meets every Wednesday morning in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room from 9 to 11 am. The sheet music and audio learning materials are furnished to help even the novice enjoy the experience. You can sing in this men's chorus or enjoy a quartet experience with three other guys. We all have a song in our heart waiting to come out. So visit us and sing along! Enjoy a coffee and donut at the break. For more information and a personal invitation contact Jim Langford at 769-6065. Barbershop Chorus Jim and his prize Mrs. Claus and friends Santa and Mrs. Claus
