The SDV Tennis Club held its second tournament of the year on
October 26. We had 12 entrants forming six mixed doubles teams.
While the goal of our tournaments is to have fun, there was good
competition. Each team was required to play every other team in a
mini set of four games. Congratulations to the team of Mary Ellen
Brogden and Dave Yang! They won a total of 16 games! Thanks to
all the participants. And a special thanks to our score keepers and
photographers.
The SDV Tennis Club is open all residents of Solera Diamond Valley.
We strive for a fun environment for players of all abilities. In addition
to a couple of tournaments each year, we also have social activities like
pot lucks and picnics. Check your copy of The View for days we have
open, drop-in tennis. Note: The tennis courts are available to all SDV
residents. You do not need to be a member of the tennis club to use
them. And you do not need to be a member to come play with us on
the open, drop-in days.
