48 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JANUARY 2020 | Happy New Year, everyone. As you have probably realized, I'm passionate about RV life and about the Sun Lakes RV Club. I'm writing this in December, and I'm feeling thankful for my crazy family, RV convenience, Sun Lakes living, and RV Club membership. So… REASON 4,000,022 TO OWN AN RV Don't get me wrong. I love my family. HOWEVER… Some of you can probably relate to some issues I've run into. You know those relative's or friend's houses that are really noisy? Artificially or naturally amped up children (or adults)? Houses that are not your version of clean/healthy? Dogs that sniff private parts? Cats that climb legs? Ferrets? Sketchy looking turtles? Monitor Lizards? People who don't have a good enough vacuum to keep you from looking like a stuffed animal when you stand up from their sofa? People who smoke in their house (totally their right) and you have allergies? People who smoke in their house with their windows closed requiring you to throw away a suitcase of laundry, because you don't want to open it in your house, OR you have to strip outside and run into the house/hotel and shove clothes in the washer? Guest beds that were used as racks during the Inquisition? People who get up or go to bed extra early or late and totally screw up your day/night rhythm? People who don't have room for you? Places you have several people asking you to stay with them and you KNOW someone is going to be butt-hurt when you pick someone else? You avoid hotels because you've watched reality shows where they view beds with blacklights that make bodily fluids glow? An RV takes care of that, even if you stay on someone's property with it. You have an escape. You may have an on-board washing machine or a case of Febreeze in an outside storage compartment. If you stay in your RV, you can more easily control your schedule (they make those door locks for a reason). If you have people visit you at your home, you can escape to your RV for a while or them stay in a nearby RV park in your RV if you don't have the room. See? You need an RV. Next month, I'll expound on benefits of RV Club membership. I'm very persuasive. You might as well give up now. Call Sandy Alexanian for information at (951) 381-1292.
