6 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2020 Activities Director Corner By Cindy Graves Happy New Year! 2020 is a new year with all kinds of new opportunities. The first new opportunity is a get-together in the Ballroom on Friday, Jan. 10 from 5 to 9 pm for Four Seasons Musicians. We're calling it "Meet the Musicians" and, as the name would indicate, it's a chance for folks to get to know each other, get to know what instruments they play, and what genre of music they enjoy. Bring your instruments and be ready to do some jamming with some really awesome rocking people. For more information, email Perry Goldstein at perry.goldstein@gmail. com. See you there. CLUB, GROUP, CLASS TOWN HALL On Tuesday, Jan. 14, I'm having a Club, Group and Class mini Town Hall meeting in the Ballroom at 5:30 pm. The purpose for this meeting is to get all of our groups together to explain the new rules that were recently passed by the BOD and to have everyone fill out new club forms with the most recent information, so that we can have accurate content for our soon to be released Club, Group and Class Directory. I'll also be explaining about the awesome Club Fair which we'll be having in the Ballroom on Saturday, Jan. 18 from 10 am to 1 pm. I would like all of the Club, Group and Class leaders to be there (or send a representative). CLUB FAIR For the new people who have just moved in within the last 13 years, I encourage you to come to the Club Fair at The Lodge on Jan. 18 from 10 am to 1 pm. Check out all of the fascinating groups that are active in Four Seasons this year. Some clubs are very recent additions to our offerings and some are the staples around here, that have added value to many residents' lives for years. Come and meet the folks who make it all happen and find out what they each have to offer. There is nothing like expanding your potential for more joy this year. ART DISPLAY On Monday, Jan. 20 there will be a beautiful display of mixed- media art in The Lodge Lobby. Come and check out some of the amazing talents of our Four Seasons Artists. The display will be up for a full week to give everyone a chance to check it out. GAIL'S GAMES Finally, on Friday, Jan. 24 at 6 pm in the Ballroom we have the ever-popular Gail Lindeboom, game emcee extraordinaire, who will be leading us in hilarious competition in the favorite TV game, Password. Everyone is welcome to come and play or just watch. There is no cost to attend and you're invited to bring in your dinner and drinks. Have a great year, and I'll see you around The Lodge!
