FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2020 31 Our last meeting of 2019 was a great success with DJ Tracy Crow playing Christmas carols, everyone enjoying refreshments, and great guest speakers, including Sgt. Ramos from the Beaumont Police Department, who spoke about how to stay safe during the holidays. We always enjoy hearing from Darren Meyers with the CHP and will look forward to continuing our relationship with his replacement as we wish him well in his retirement. Our Four Seasons participation in the CHP Annual CHiPs 4 Kids Toy Drive was outstanding. So many toys, including bicycles and stuffed animals, helped to make this a great success. A BIG thank you to ALL! The Neighborhood Watch Steering Committee looks forward to the New Year and will continue to provide outstanding guest speakers with information regarding our Four Seasons community to all of Beaumont. We meet once a month to plan upcoming meetings and have some interesting ones planned. We are currently planning meetings with Beaumont Cherry Valley Water, Beaumont Police, California Highway Patrol, and Tails and Trails. We will begin January with our General Manager, Eric Zarr, who will be updating us on the upcoming turnover from K. Hovnanian, so stay tuned. We are also in the planning stages for our yearly National Night Out where you can meet Beaumont's Police, Riverside County Sheriff, and Banning Police to name a few. Did you know there is a great way to stay informed with up-to-the-minute communications? Neighborhood Watch has a Facebook page. If you would like to join, look for Four Seasons Neighborhood Watch and request to join. It is a closed group so you will be asked a couple of questions to verify you are part of Four Seasons. Just provide the information requested and you are good to go and in the know. We are now offering an evening meeting several times a year for those who are unable to attend our regularly scheduled monthly meetings. The first one is scheduled for Feb. 12 and will be held in the RCN at 6 pm. We are near or at build out and have many more residents utilizing our streets, so please remember the speed limit on Four Seasons Circle is 30 mph and 25 mph on all other streets. As a reminder, if you see something say something. Let's all work together through Neighborhood Watch to ensure a very safe and happy 2020! Neighborhood Watch meets the second Wednesday of every month in the Ballroom at 10 am. ~ Kathy Craven, kathycraven@ rocketmail.com Neighborhood Watch Our residents had an opportunity to donate toys to the annual California Highway Patrol CHiPS 4 Kids Toy Drive.
