8 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2020 By Danya O'Harra, Activities Assistant As we enter the final stages of build-out, we have seen larger numbers of visitors coming into Four Seasons, especially on weekends when there are events, family visitors, and other activities within the gates. This is resulting in heavier traffic flow through the Potrero Entrance and occasionally causes significant delays for those awaiting entry. To help alleviate some of this traffic and accompanying frustration I'd like to take a moment to review the incredibly user-friendly system we have in place for community access — dwellingLIVE. dwellingLIVE is a database system that is used to approve guests and vendors for entry into gated communities such as Four Seasons Beaumont. A resident may telephone the Potrero Gatehouse at (951) 769-4131 to approve guest entry, where the gate attendant will manually enter the guest into dwellingLIVE on behalf of the resident. Unfortunately, during high traffic and phone call times, these phone calls may occasionally go unanswered. Leaving a voicemail is an effective way of communicating information to the gate attendant. However, each resident has the capability of creating his or her own dwellingLIVE user account. Residents can then use a computer, smartphone, or tablet to enter a guest directly into our gate entry system. Using dwellingLIVE is the single most accurate and efficient way of managing your updated personal information and the names of visitors. dwellingLIVE gives residents control by allowing them to add temporary or permanent guests to their access list. Residents may also list unwanted visitors as restricted from entering the community. Among the many incredible privacy features, this system provides residents the opportunity to request that a text message or email be instantly sent to them every time someone enters the community, in that resident's name. However, these additional privacy features cannot properly function without resident participation. Many of the email addresses and phone numbers affiliated with long-term addresses and residents have become outdated and nonfunctional. If you have not updated your contact details in dwellingLIVE in the last six months, we strongly encourage you to log in and refresh that information. Creating an account with dwellingLIVE is as easy as 1-2-3! Those logging into dwellingLIVE for the first time may visit our community website at www.fourseasonsbeaumont.org, select the "Contacts" drop screen, and then click "dwellingLIVE." This will redirect you to the proper community access page where residents can log onto their dwellingLIVE account by entering the email address they previously registered with management as the username. Those already registered in dwellingLIVE who may have forgotten their log in credentials may email issues@ fourseasonsbeaumont.org to request a password reset or may call The Lodge at (951) 769-6358. Those residents who may feel overwhelmed by this process should visit The Lodge Front Desk to pick up instructional flyers that contain illustrated step-by-step instructions on all things dwellingLIVE. It seems like a small step, however, updating your account information will allow residents and management to work side by side to strengthen the privacy and comfort we experience within our community.
