| OHCC LIVING | JANUARY 2020 | 27 2020! A year of excitement and new projects is on the horizon! In January, our first "workshop" on Thurs., Jan. 16 will be a tour of our great Sewing Room, and learning about the machines and resources that are available there for you to use. If you haven't checked it out, you should know that just about every sewing/ knitting/crocheting supply is available to you for free so that you can get your project completed. On Jan. 23, our annual program of giving begins again with a class in cradle quilts. You might have seen the cradles made by our own Woodchucks in the lobby of the Clubhouse last December. Those cradles had quilts and pillows for the dollies that are made every year by our club. They are easy, quick projects, and help to complete a wonderful gift for a child. Our regular gatherings Tuesday evenings and Friday afternoons continue, as we all work on our own projects; Thursday mornings are open for sewing or whatever you are trying to accomplish; and Tuesday afternoons are busy with MaryLu Belisle and the knitters. The second Saturday is our regular 'Sew-In', and the 25th, (the fourth Saturday) our Wearable Arts group will be meeting and creating. So many exciting activities! A complete list of happenings is on the bulletin board in the Sewing Room. If anyone would like to participate in our activities and is unable to get to the Clubhouse, please contact Chris Sanderson at (858) 442- 1834. We have volunteers ready to pick you up! Please visit our website, lovingly updated by Terri Eckhardt. http://ohccsewing.wixsite.com/ohccsewing All are welcome to join us. Dues are $7 per year. Our meetings are held at 9:30 am in the morning on the first Thursday of each month… we look forward to seeing you! Sewing, Etc.
