Anglers Club Happy New Year 2020 from the RV Club! Our first two trips of the New Year will be "Discover LA" (Pop-Up), Feb. 9 - 14, and Pahrump, NV, March 13 - 18. For more information on these trips, see our website. As was mentioned in last month's news, the RV Club had a pop-up trip to Oak Glen, CA. This was an excellent adventure to the Yucaipa Regional Recreation Park which is about a two-hour drive from OHCC. There were three lakes at this RV Park and members enjoyed exploring Oak Glen, visiting the local apple business, learning candle making, and tomahawk throwing. Some attendees extended the trip by going on to Paso Robles Wine Festival and then the Pismo Beach Jazz Jubilee. The RV Club Thanksgiving trip is always special. It was held at the San Diego KOA in Chula Vista. Several members took in a hockey game to see the Gulls at the Pechanga Arena and an excursion to Coronado. The wagon masters who made this a wonderful trip were Sondra and Fred Peppe, Lawrence Aiken and Tatis Cervantes-Aiken, and John and Sharon Pearsley. The next general meeting will be on Tues., Jan. 28, in Abravanel Hall. Social time starts at 7 pm, and business meeting starts at 7:30 pm.
