A big thank you to the 2019 Board members, your leadership ensured a successful game every Tuesday night. Thank you all helping hands, Gisela Rayhrer, Nancy Busher, Phyllis Skall, Irma Maston, and Seymore Singer. The new Board for 2020 is headed by Phyllis Skall, President; Jack Stanley, Vice President; Barbara Myers, Treasurer; and Heidi Kuhn, Secretary. Seymore Singer will continue to serve as director. Please sign up on Do Dues Day, or leave your $6 check in the Founders Bridge Club envelope at the front desk or give it to the treasurer at your first game. A membership roster will be delivered to your email address. We encourage party bridge players to try out the duplicate format. Membership is not required for your first game. We are a friendly group and will help you get started. We play every Tuesday at 6:30 pm (check in at 6:15 pm) at Abravanel Hall or the Mykonos Room. Player donation of $2 is requested. We offer a Duplicate Bridge game that combines the superior scoring of Duplicate Bridge but also has the friendlier and non- aggressive attitude of home style Rubber Bridge. With Duplicate Bridge, your true opponents are the pairs that hold the same cards as you would rather than your opponents at the table. We are not an ACBL game and for that, we not only offer an extremely reasonable game price of just $2, but also give cash awards to the winners. We are relatively small and have anywhere from five to eight tables. The games are at 1 pm on the second, fourth, and fifth Fridays of the month in Mykonos. You do not have to join this club to play your first game, however if you decide to join the annual dues are $6.
