12 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | March 2020 | Many thanks to Bobbie Davis for writing February's Herald article for me while I was incapacitated, and a job well done too. We didn't have a quorum at the January Bistro meeting for various reasons. That said, we certainly could use one or two hale and hardy bodies joining the Bistro Committee. If that sparks an interest in you, please pick up an application form at the front desk. You may have noticed that some Bistro menu prices have gone up. Friday night buffet and Sunday Brunch are still a bargain when you remember all the extras that are included. You get desserts, at least two main courses, and beverages for the Friday night buffet while the Sunday brunch offers those items plus juice, fresh fruits and salad, tasty omelets and a whole buffet of other breakfast items. Don't forget — a dollar of the price tag is TAX, which would be added to your bill elsewhere. Again, there is NO TIP included on the meal. Did you know? We recently learned that there is a written rule that we (homeowners) are only allowed to invite up to six guests to the special Friday night and Sunday brunch meals. Also, no employees can use the facilities or Ballroom for parties unless rented like other non-resident users. Employees cannot attend the Sunday Brunch or Friday Buffet unless as an invited guest of a homeowner. The Social Committee did a wonderful job with the February Wine Tasting and had so much fun they decided to do Hollywood Revisited on April 29. It will be fun, so get your tickets early. The winner for March's Free Brunch for Two is JoAnne Catalano. Her ticket was pulled by Janet Kusy-Hester while tending her duties at the front desk. JoAnne was a lucky winner back in September. The Once Again Band supplied entertainment and dancing music for us on Jan. 31 at Francisco's Special Fifth Friday of the Month Buffet, and will be returning on May 21. They are also booked for May 29, July 31, and Oct. 31 for our dancing and musical pleasure. The Guitar and Melodies Duo, (Ron and Evelyn Vodegel) have offered to share their talent with us at the March 27 Friday Buffet. Neither group gets any form of payment, so show your enjoyment of their efforts by dropping something in the "TIP BOWL" near by. That's me, Patt double "T" Bistro Committee Name: _____________________________________ Address: ___________________________________ Phone: _____________________________________ FREE SUNDAY BRUNCH FOR Two at the Bistro at Four Seasons (not valid on holidays or special events) March 2020 Hemet Herald • Limited to ONE ENTRY per residence per month Facilities Committee We're two months into 2020 and the Facilities Committee is continually working on different projects to make Four Seasons better for everyone living here. In January, the Board approved two projects: replacement of the Lobby fireplace components and replacement of the solar sidewalk lights on Four Seasons, World Cup and Player. The new lights will enhance the brightness at night. Those are just two of our projects and in the coming months, the committee will be researching other remodeling and replacement projects as we continually look to improve Four Seasons. We have added two new members, Fred Kydd and Scott Duncan, to our committee. We meet the first and third Wednesday of every month at 9 am. If you have any questions or concerns, you are more than welcome to attend.
