Wishing you all a Wishing you all a joyous St. Paddy's Day! joyous St. Paddy's Day! | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | March 2020 | 7 As I continue to navigate through the calendar creation and getting to know more of you, some thoughts come to mind. These articles are written a month prior to the arrival of the Hemet Herald in your mailbox and should be timely. Themes are helpful so I started with the name of your community — Four Seasons. Seems simple enough, if only I could have taken that easy route. I continued with the thought of seasons and how programming would benefit the seasons of life. I love spring and after that brutal Southern California winter we just survived (remember the one day the fountain froze?) I think we are all ready to bid winter farewell. Spring cleaning, here we come! Some upcoming events are scheduled to assist you: • March 19: A Decluttering Specialist will be giving a talk on strategies of letting go of the "stuff." Light refreshments served. • April 23: A speaker for tips on Estate Liquidation. • April 25: SHRED DAY! Please bring your documents to The Lodge and a professional Shred company will shred them to maintain your personal security. • May 16: Community Yard Sale. All work and no play is boring so let's get on the bus and go see a show. Sat., March 21 the bus will take us for a matinee performance of Little Shop of Horrors at the Candlelight Theater in Claremont. The cost is $99 per person, price is all inclusive of transportation, meal, show and gratuity. I am also working on a trip to see the Space Shuttle Endeavor and the newly remodeled Petersen Auto museum. As fun as it is to get away, having concerts in your own backyard is pretty fantastic. I have been searching for bands to meet all your requests, the main request I have heard is "We want to dance." The first Music on the Plaza will be April 14 with Bonita and the Blues Shacks — they are back by popular demand! The Social Committee had a successful Wine Pairing event and are already deep into the planning for a fun night out April 29 so save the date. The Social Committee and their volunteers are truly a dedicated group of residents that work hard to bring this community together through so many fun events. This may be a season of change but I am here to serve you and I am always looking to meet another new friend. I hope to see you in The Lodge soon.
