FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2020 5
ANNUAL MEETING & ELECTION The Annual Meeting
and Election of the Board will be April 30, at 1 pm in the Ballroom.
Ballots will begin to be mailed to all homeowners on Friday, March
27. Please vote and remember to sign the outer envelope. The District
Delegate Election material will have been sent out before you read
this, so please vote for your local delegate as well. If you need another
ballot or have any questions, please come by the RCN Office. All of
the election items, including maps, candidate statements, Election
Rules are online at www.fourseasonsbeaumont.org/election.
LAWN CARE Did you know March and April are the ideal
months to seed your lawn? Spread warm weather grass seed in early
spring when the day time temperatures reach 65 degrees. This will
allow the warm weather grasses to establish before the heat that
comes with summer.
GET INVOLVED Have you ever wondered how it all gets
done? The committees of Four Seasons Beaumont! If you have
always wanted to be a fly on the wall in a room where the projects are
thought of and recommendations are deliberated, then I encourage
you attend a committee meeting as a guest. Committee meetings
go from 30 minutes to two hours at most. Any resident can attend
a committee meeting as a guest to get involved by just listening or
taking advantage of the homeowner input portion of the meeting
with no long-term membership commitment. The committee
meeting dates, times and locations are published in the Breeze
monthly and on the Daily Report as well.
BUILDER TURNOVER I have had several people ask how
the turnover is going and expressed that they are concerned about
how things will be with K. Hovnanian being gone and homeowners
"now" being in control of the Association. In actuality, homeowners
have been in control of the Association and Board since 2016 when
the builder lost two of the four seats that they previously had.
Homeowners have had a 5-2 majority since mid-2016. Last year, K.
Hovnanian gave up one of their remaining two seats so there have
been six homeowners in control of the Board. While there are a few
items for the builder to finish up, like slurry in Phase E2, the main
turnover items have all been completed.
