DID YOU KNOW?
12 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2020
DID YOU KNOW the website treasure hunt has ended? We will no longer
be hiding a treasure chest icon on the website and do hope you will continue to
explore fourseasonbeaumont.org, a current online source of information.
DID YOU KNOW there is a form to update
information on your club, group or class? Anytime
there is a change in meeting days, times, location,
or contact person, this form should be updated.
Chairpersons can find this form at The Lodge front
desk. The deadline to reflect any changes in the
next Breeze is the 8th of the month.
DID YOU KNOW that the Breeze has several "floating" columns that we use
when we have enough current input from residents? For example, springtime
usually yields beautiful pictures of yards and gardens for our Flourishing Flora
in Four Seasons column. Pets on Parade is published when we have three or more
pictures of our residents' furry, feline, and other fabulous pets. We are excited to
announce we will begin accepting photos for a new column soon. While the name
has not been finalized, this column will feature photos of residents on vacation. We
would like to see residents holding a copy of the Breeze in these away-from-home
photos. While not mandatory, of course, it will be fun to see how far away and to
what exotic places the Breeze will travel. To be considered for publication, photos
must be digital, high resolution, and in jpeg format. Please remember to provide a
brief description for the photographs and indicate which column the photo is for in
the subject line. Email all photos to fourseasonsnews@yahoo.com.
DID YOU KNOW it's about time for mama duck
and her precious ducklings to begin making their
appearance around Four Seasons? Springtime will
find the ducks often waddling from the pool across the
roundabout to the water feature in front of The Lodge
and beyond. While they are as cute as the dickens,
please do not feed them or try and interact with them.
Bread, granola, and crackers are ultimately bad for
birds. Ducks need a variety of insects and invertebrates
and feeding them human food can cause a reliance on
an unhealthy diet. Also, please stay clear of their path
as more than likely mama is leading her babies to the
closest available habitat.
