March marks the end of the first quarter which means we will
be conducting our first Quarterly Tournaments for 2020. Our
tournaments consist of both doubles and singles play. I will be
posting the results in the May issue of the Breeze. With the absence
of rain this year, we've been able to get in consistent play which
improves our talent level, making for increased competitiveness
in our first tournaments, which I love. We've added new members
so far this year, Jim and Bonnie McKenna, along with Ed Hogerty.
Welcome aboard folks, I know you will enjoy the experience as much
as we do. While I'm recognizing members, we have one gentleman
who consistently arrives early and checks out the horseshoes, and
then preps the pits for play by raking and sweeping each one. Our
thanks go to Dave Thomason, oh yeah, he throws a decent shoe as
well. Speaking of talent, we always welcome new members no matter
when you played last. Like us, our talent developed over time and we
have immensely enjoyed the journey. We have relaxed rules of play, to
accommodate everyone, so come out and help us enjoy playing on the
most beautiful horseshoe venue in the entire pass area. Our contacts

Ladies Putters Group
We had a great time at the Fair this year! A lot of people stopped
by to putt and sign up for the Ladies Putters Group.
Thank you to Linda Egle for setting up our table, Claudia Rozzi for
bringing the clubs, and to Jackie Morris for loaning us the putting
green. Thanks to Linda Egle and Linda Long for signing new
members up.
Thanks to everyone who comes out to putt with us, new members
are always welcome.
Currently, we putt every Friday at 9 am. Starting on March 9, we
will also putt on Mondays at 6 pm.
