The new equipment at Canyon Lanes was recently installed and has eliminated the rest period, though it hasn't improved my bowling. I was lucky enough to be coached by Maureen Condon when we were both on the same team, she had a Women's high Handicap Series of 748, based on the way I bowl, clearly she didn't teach me everything. Sun Lakers & Friends March 2020 is here and there are only four weeks left in our Tuesday League. Sweeps will be on April 7 and our awards banquet is set for April 14 at the South Clubhouse. The Men's High Scratch Game goes to newcomer Jim Bowkley, 286. Women's' High Scratch Series continues to be held by Kerry Bowkley with a 606. The Women's High Scratch Game goes to Bridjette Whaley with a 221. Team High Handicap Series with a 2777 is held by team 11 - Wham Bham (Marty and Marv Steggel and Diane & Gaylord Spence). The Team High Handicap Game, 992, goes to team 4 - Spare Parts (Carol & Larry Ellis, Sallie Flesher and Sandy Hepburn) Men's High Handicap Series with a 759 goes to Frank Burkett.
