6 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MARCH 2020 | 2020 AGE VERIFICATION FORM Pursuant to the federal government and state law (please refer to the governing documents and CA Civil Code Section 51.11), every owner of, or person residing in, a home at Sun Lakes Country Club Homeowner's Association must complete a 2020 Age Verification Form, to certify his/her eligibility to reside in the Association, which is a senior community. This must be done to ensure at least 80 percent of the community is 55+. This requires each resident, in the home, to fill out a separate 2020 Age Verification Form and supply proof of age (i.e. – California Driver's License, California ID Card, Passport or Military ID). A copy of the 2020 Age Verification Form has been included in the March edition of Lifestyles. Please see the green insert. Return completed form(s) to the Administration Office no later than Fri., July 31. If you need additional copies of the form or have questions regarding how to fill it out, please contact the Administration Office at 951-769-6649. 2020 ANNUAL MEETING OF THE MEMBERSHIP AND ELECTION OF DIRECTORS The Sun Lakes Country Club Homeowners Association Annual Meeting of the Membership will be held on April 8, at 9 am, in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom (850 Country Club Drive, Banning, CA 92220). There will be three open positions on the Board of Directors. Each newly elected director will serve a two-year term. Two "Meet the Candidates" forums will be conducted in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Members will be given the opportunity to ask questions to the candidates running for the Board. The first Forum will be held on Tues., March 3, at 6 pm and the second will be Wed., March 4, at 10 am. The Member of Record date is Mon., Feb. 17, and ballots will be mailed to each homeowner on Fri., March 6. Election information will be posted on the Sun Lakes website www.sunlakescc.com and on the bulletin board in the Main Clubhouse adjacent to the receptionist desk. 2020 BIENNIAL DISTRICT DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE DISTRICT DELEGATE ELECTION The Sun Lakes Country Club Homeowners Association District Delegate and Alternate District Delegate Election is held in conjunction with the Annual Membership Meeting and Election of Directors. The District Delegate and Alternate District Delegate election results will be tabulated by the Inspector of Election on April 8. Each newly elected District Delegate and Alternate District Delegate will serve a two-year term. The Ballot for the District Delegate and Alternate District Delegate Election will be included in the ballot package you receive from the Inspector of Election, for the 2020 Board of Directors Election, that will be mailed to the membership on Fri., March 6. MAILING ADDRESS FOR ASSESSMENT PAYMENTS The mailing address for accepting assessment payments made by paper check, money order and through your bank's Online Bill Pay feature is listed below.
