The Pink Ukuladies & Gents
The Pink Ukuladies & Gents are
honored to perform during the Sun
Lakes Chorale concert on April 24,
25 and 26. This will be their third
performance with the Chorale. They
are also practicing many numbers for
the Inland Empire Ukulele Festival
during May.
Their participation in Sun Lakes
Activities Day was a big success, thanks
to Nelly VanLommel and her committee: Judy Garthwaite, Helen
Pepper and Nora Huffman. Several residents expressed an interest in
joining the Pink Ukuladies & Gents. The group welcomes their new
gent, Al Jaszcar.
Ed Avina gave the group two microphones that can be used as
needed. Thank you, Ed.
Anyone interested in joining Pink Ukuladies & Gents is welcome.
No prior music experience is necessary; enjoy the companionship
of others who love to sing and play music. Weekly practice is on
Tuesdays in the Bus Room. Times is as follows: 12:30 pm set up;
class begins at 1 pm. Then a special half-hour is devoted to beginners
at 2:30 pm.

Chorale
The Chorale is off and running! Our spring concert series features entertaining
songs from the islands. Concerts will be held on Fri., April 24 and Sat., April 25
at 7 pm and Sun., April 26 (matinee) at 3 pm. Mark your calendars now!
WE NEED A PRACTICE PIANIST for our sectional rehearsals on
Thursdays for 4 1/2 hours from now until April 16. Stipend is negotiable. For
