SOLERA DIAMOND VALLEY | MARCH 2020 7 By Sherrie Chaparro, Resident Jenevieve is our new Property Services and Code Compliance Manager. She is responsible for all common area maintenance and repair issues and stresses the importance of reporting any issues to her using the appropriate forms. This ensures that your complaint will be attended to promptly and efficiently, with all appropriate follow up. Like our prior Code Compliance Manager, Jenevieve brings with her a background in the helping professions and views this part of her job as an opportunity to help residents comply with the CC&Rs. Jenevieve was born and grew up in the small town of Nuevo, between Perris and Hemet, and attended Perris High School. Growing up, she attended Light on The Hill church in Menifee and started singing on the worship team with her mom and dad. Jenevieve has this to say about her parents: "My mom has been my rock since I can remember. She's full of strength, unconditional love and unwavering faith… My parents have not only taught me to have faith in Jesus, they've also taught me to work hard and believe in myself." After graduating, she worked in a medical office, then for three years as Administrator for Patient Access at Hemet Hospital. During this time, she had many opportunities to exhibit grace under pressure, but particularly remembers the time a woman dashed in from the street being chased by a man wielding a hammer. While she was working at the hospital, Jenevieve also began working part time at a local 55+ community, where she met our General Manager. Anna recognized her ability and work ethic, convinced her to take a full-time position at the community, and later convinced her to come to work for us. In her spare time Jenevieve continues to sing and be involved in other church activities. She also plays soccer with the Perris Women's League. She feels incredibly blessed to have a 10-year- old daughter, Zoey, who is an honor student and a soccer player. But the icing on the cake (and I know many Solerans can identify) is that through her church Jenevieve recently reconnected romantically with a man she knew when they were growing up. So, if you have any questions about common area maintenance and/or repair issues, or a code compliance issue, give Jenevieve a call. Just don't go after her with a hammer, because she will take you down! Meet Jenevieve Banuelos
