24 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | APRIL 2020 | Young at Heart We will host a fun golf tournament at Soboba Springs Golf Course exclusively for Young at Heart members on April 25 (not April 18, as previously published). This is a truly spectacular golf course in beautiful and serene surroundings. Tee time is 8:30 am with a reverse shotgun start. Fee is $70 pp including cart, range balls and luncheon (or $20 pp for luncheon only). Leave check payable to YAH at 1054 Pine Valley Road with attendees' names and phone number indicating whether golfer or luncheon only for each. Include foursome and twosome requests in the same envelope; single players will be assigned to open teams. Sign- ups and checks will be accepted through April 11. We are proud to sponsor our first-ever "Paint and Sip" Painting Party on April 10 to benefit the non-profit 501(c)(3) organization "Faith in Action" to assist the homeless in Banning. Participants will be provided a canvas, brushes and paints, as well as coaching by a professional artist. This fun, BYOB party will be in the South Clubhouse from 4:30 to 7 pm and is open to all Sun Lakes residents and their guests. Suggested tax- deductible donation is $40 pp or $70 per couple. Our popular Golf Cart Rally will return on May 3 with a Cinco de Mayo theme. Entrants will vie for prizes as they follow clues and solve clever puzzles to navigate throughout Sun Lakes with stops for refreshments along the way. All members will be invited to join the contestants for dinner at the North Clubhouse after the rally. Details and entry forms will be emailed to members in April.
