VOLUNTEER WEEK!
GET-TOGETHER GROUP: My name is Carl Parish. I am a
92-year-old resident of Sun Lakes — perhaps you have seen me walking
with my guide dog Nelson. I've had a wonderful life and career. Well
actually three careers… I have been a Family Physician, an Emergency
Room Doctor and a Psychiatrist. As you can see, I've had a very full life.
Perhaps a few of you are at a point in your life as I am. My family is not
close by and I live alone. There are weeks that I go without conversation
with others. Wouldn't it be great to get together for breakfast, coffee, or
just visit in the Library at the Main Clubhouse? If you are interested,
please call my friend, Anne at (951) 845-8700. Maybe we can get a group
together!
STROKE SUPPORT GROUP: I am conducting a survey
to determine if there would be interest in beginning a Stroke Support
Group at Sun Lakes. The group would be for anyone who has suffered a
stroke, caregivers, or anyone interested in learning more about strokes.

opportunity to become involved in your Sun Lakes
community. It's a wonderful way to support your
favorite hobbies or make our slice of heaven just
a little bit better. Contact any group president
or committee chair and find out how you can
participate!
