42 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2020 Our mission is to learn, share, and have fun with photography. We start each meeting with an intro to new members and upcoming events, a segment of tips and tricks, and presentation on format, style or gear use. We continue with sharing the previous month's photo challenge works. Our February meeting had record-breaking attendance again! We are so lucky to have a community of highly creative and engaged individuals. Our demonstration on Pet Photography by Elaine Holliman was outstanding. Elaine was able to give usable and scalable instructions on how to set the scene and capture our pet's personality every time. During Elaine's demonstration, each member was taking notes and exchanging glances as if to say "Oh! I'm going to try that at home!" The team was then challenged to create their own pet portraits to present at the March meeting. Thank you, Elaine, for all that you do. By the way, make sure you visit the Save a Small Dog Rescue organization at www.saveasmalldogrescue.org. Elaine is the animal photographer with this rescue and is a hero for these tiny angels. March's demonstration will be on sport and high speed photography by ReNae Stueve. This should get us ready for the grandkids' sporting events this summer. Our first March outing was with the Bird Watching Club to the San Jacinto Wildlife Area (Davis Unit). Then the El Dorado Polo Club final event on March 22. (Talk about a speed sport.) I posted one photo of the recon trip we took in early February. The FSPC Photo Processing Work Study Group continued in March, with a discussion on five basic steps you need to know in post processing by ReNae Stueve. Study Group meetings are held the third Thursday of each month at 1 pm in the Game Room. So many interesting and exciting things in store for the Four Seasons Photography Club. Please drop in to see what all the excitement is about. Our main Photography Club meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month in the RNC Main Room at 6:30 pm. ~ ReNae Stueve, renaestueve@outlook.com PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB Seasoned Solos If you are single and enjoy a variety of activities, then Seasoned Solos just might be the group for you. At each meeting we discuss what is going on in the Inland Empire and plan activities, from local lunches and dinners to excursions to presidential libraries, the Redlands Bowl, Metro Link trips into LA, and the beach train to San Juan Capistrano. There's not much that we won't consider doing. We meet on the first Friday of each month in The Lodge Arts & Crafts Room at 6 pm.
