FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2020 49 Ceramics Class Our March class, "All about chalking with Loretta Ramsey" was a great success. We learned how to make our ceramic piece come alive by applying chalk to our piece. Our next class will be on April 4 and we will be painting a duckling on an egg-shaped plate. We will be using a watercolor technique for the background. The tracing of the duckling will be done in advance of the class. The cost for the class will be $10. Classes are on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm. We will also announce upcoming classes in class and in the Breeze, so look for our new classes. Two young guests, Alyssa and Kylie, joined us in class last month. They had a lot of fun and we enjoyed having them in our class. Ceramics class has something for the novice crafter looking for a new hobby, or someone who has experience and wants to create their own unique design, or create pieces for friends and family. In addition to individual projects, we also offer class projects throughout the year to teach new techniques. Come and join in the fun. Drop by the Arts & Crafts Room to see our monthly Ceramic Class schedule and learn more about our upcoming class projects. We meet Wednesdays from 1 to 4 pm. Please see the class schedule for any exceptions. A certified instructor and/or an experienced class team lead is available to support your crafting needs. Participation is at your own pace and frequency.
