Barbara Mull & Terry Hall of our Taste d'Vine Wine Club will be presenting a blind tasting of three different varietals at our April meeting. There will be a lower priced wine vs a higher priced (for a total of six tastes) — and our members will choose their favorites. Please join us April 16 (we meet the third Thursday of each month) in the Ballroom. Doors open at 5:15 pm with the meeting starting at 6 pm. Please bring a favorite wine to share with your table, along with an appetizer such as crackers, cheese or fruit — along with two glasses for tasting. The cost is $5 for members and $10 for resident guests. We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7 pm in The Lodge Theater. We listen to and watch musical selections on the big screen. Each month we focus on a particular work or several selections of one composer. We also discuss current musical performances in the area. We welcome new members. We will be singing some Beatles, some show tunes, a country song and more. Make sure to pick up your tickets at the front desk a week before the show. We always welcome new recruits who want to sing! ~ Barbara Wasco Four Seasons Singers Veterans Club Italian American Club Did you know that there are over 130 military veterans representing each branch of our services living here within our Four Seasons community? Men and women who, when called upon, bravely served our country with honor. When you join us, you will find that as military veterans we all speak the "same language" of unity, camaraderie, and devotion to help fellow veterans like you! There are fellow veterans in our group, who have both the knowledge, and experience to assist you with any questions you may have about the different veterans claims processes. We are currently working on updating our Four Seasons Veterans Honor Roll, planning team projects to assist others in our community, and a visit to the Palm Springs Air Museum. So, come by and join us for cup of coffee at our next meeting at The Lodge in the back room of the Kopper Kettle Bistro. We meet on the third Tuesday of each month from 9:30 to 10:30 am. The purpose of the Italian American Club is to provide members with the opportunity to share cultural experiences, history, traditions, language, food and fun being Americans of Italian ancestry. The club is open to all residents. We meet the second Thursday of each month at The Courts Multipurpose Room at 6 pm. Our March meeting was an Italian food potluck that was attended by many of our members. Italian foods, such as eggplant Parmesan, Italian sausage and peppers, stuffed shells, spaghetti and meatballs, and many Italian desserts made their way to our potluck dinner meeting. We had lots of fun during the evening and the food was great. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, April 9 at The Courts at 6 pm. Thank you everyone who made the potluck dinner meeting so successful. Looking forward to seeing you all again so, addio fina incontriamo al nuovo!
