| OHCC LIVING | APRIL 2020 | 37 Calorie Free Happy Hour Low to no impact aerobics – NO JUMPING! Classes are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 to 11 am with instructor Christine Alesiani. You can choose the number of classes each week that you would like to attend. There is no class available on the second Wednesday of each month. Christine leads the class in a warm up session, then the aerobic session, and a cool down. We use weights from 10:50 to 11 am. The instructor sometimes adds a few exercises for balance and an easy dance for fun. The cost is $5 per class. You can pay for and try two classes without joining the club. The annual dues are $6 (Please make the check payable to OH Aerobics). Aerobics Happy Easter! We hope YOU will sign up at the front desk with your check for $5 to join the Ocean Hills Sr. Fitness Club. Please include your email address and phone number on your check. First class is FREE so try a class. The Chair Yoga class will usually be held in the Abravanel Hall every Monday and Wednesday at 11:15 am (no mats). Please come by 11 am to sign up. The cost is only $5 for each class attended. The Chair-to-Mat class will usually be held in the Mykonos Room every Tuesday at 8 am (bring mat and towel). The Tuesday class is FREE because the professional instructor is an OHCC resident. You need to be a member of the Senior Fitness Club to attend either class after your first visit. Senior Fitness Club Tai Chi Hello Tai Chi friends… Please check the weekly Clubhouse schedule before coming to class as the regular room may be changed due to the construction in the Clubhouse. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding. God bless! ~ Lai Mei Ladies and Gents please join this FREE growing class on each Wednesday and Friday at 9 am. We follow along video presentations by a certified instructor that is designed to help Improve strength, stability, and balance. We mostly sit on chairs. Bring one weight of your choice. Please consult the weekly-schedule pamphlet at the front desk for room location or ask the receptionist as our room assignments change. Thank you and we hope to see you! Stretch & Balance Morning exercise An exercise class is held on Mondays and Fridays, 8 to 9 am in Abravanel Hall. Attendees bring a floor mat and light hand weights for this moderate head-to-toe workout. June Cooper has led this class for many years and does a wonderful job! Come join us! It is free.
