4 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MAY 2020 | As many of you are aware, on April 4, 2020, the Riverside County Public Health Officer issued a new order directing the public to stay home and to cover your face when leaving. This order also states no gatherings of any number of people may take place outside of family members residing in the same home. This directly impacts our ability to conduct the 2020 Election. The Inspector of Election, after consulting with legal counsel, determined it best to put the election on hold. Board members, Delegates, and Alternate Delegates serve until the end of their term or until their successor is elected. Therefore, members will continue to serve in their current capacities until further notice. We will notify the membership once we receive additional information regarding when the Election can be rescheduled.
