| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | May 2020 | 21
Just in case: Check with your club contact to confirm meeting place, date, & time.
As we are reading through this month's
Herald of quite different articles, written
during unprecedented times of isolation,
taking pause to reflect has become our
new shared normal. The members of
Late Bloomers extend our good wishes
and prayers of peaceful comfort to all our
Four Seasons friends, family and extended
families. We sincerely hope you are all
well, safe and healthy, learning new ways to
experience precious time with loved ones.
Spring is a favorite time of year for garden
enthusiasts, and a season for renewal. New
growth and regrowth are symbols of Mother
Nature restoring itself, as are new planting,
and replanting a time for us to restore and
to recharge. Even if you don't fancy yourself
the 'garden type' the opportunity to get
down in the dirt can be highly therapeutic.
(It's amazing how quickly feelings of anxiety
dissipate while sitting in the yard pulling
weeds!)
We live in an amazing environment here
at Four Seasons, surrounded by expansive
sky views, majestic mountains, and very
green landscapes, (thanks to mid-April
showers). Greeted by the delightful sounds
of birdsong, soothed by sweet smells of earth
and budding flowers, and room to roam, we
are beckoned outside to enjoy what God has
created. Look up, look around, take it all
in, and breathe. For however long we have
to remain alone together, I can't think of a
better place to be.
Until we meet again…
Once conditions for social distancing are
removed, Late Bloomers meets the second
Monday of every month at 1 pm in the Arts
& Crafts Room. All Four Seasons residents
are welcome to attend both meetings and
excursions. For more information, please
