During March a group from the RV Club went
to Pahrump, NV. Among the many activities and
tours were: the Pahrump Valley Museum, golfing,
the Chicken Ranch Brothel, Ash Meadows National
Wildlife Preserve, and the Pahrump Valley Winery.
Thank you to wagon masters: Bob and Barbara
Becker, Ron and Meddy Carso, and Don and Marjorie
Humphrey.
A day trip to Chuao Chocolatier in Carlsbad was
a big hit with the RV Club. In early March members
got a tour plus an opportunity to craft their own
chocolate bars and fill them with joy, love, and
toppings. Lunch was at Mendocino Farms. Thank
you to Tatis Cervantes Aiken for planning and
organizing this wonderful outing. Other upcoming
events planned are the Lot Party (June 23), Lanai
Party (July 21), Del Mar Day at the Races (August 20),
and a Tour of Ramona Camel Dairy (October 12).
Please check the RV Club website as some trips
and events have been canceled or postponed due to
the coronavirus.
The next general meeting will be on Tues., May
26 in Abravanel Hall. Social time starts at 7 pm, and
business meeting starts at 7:30 pm.
