Well, here we are! Waiting, wondering…
when will life get back to normal? Once
our health is no longer at risk, we should be
able to enjoy our friends in person, but then
there's the Clubhouse construction that will
(most likely) still be in progress, which will
not allow our use of the sewing room.
Since the Clubhouse shutdown has
allowed construction to continue, we can
always hope that access to our sewing room
might happen sooner than the original July
first date… we'll keep you informed!
So during this time, please continue to
sew, crochet, knit, and do all sorts of other
crafts. And then, BOY – ARE WE GOING TO
HAVE ONE HECK OF A "SHOW AND TELL"
AT OUR NEXT MEETING!
Just about the time that we had plans to
"travel" around to homes for our gatherings
(during the construction), the "social
distancing" became our new and very
necessary way of life… so, we have been
trying out Zoom on Fridays as a way to see
our faces and get some laughter into our
conversations… and that really helps! We're
not the most high-tech group, but we can still
have some fun trying.
If anyone would like to participate in our
activities and is not sure of who to reach
out to during this time, please call Chris
Sanderson at (760)726-4634, or MaryLu
Belisle (562) 454-1931 for more information.
Also, please visit our website, lovingly
updated by Terri Eckhardt, ohccsewing.

All are welcome to join us. Dues are $7
per year. Our meetings are normally held at
9:30 am in the morning on the first Thursday
of each month. We look forward to seeing
you when life gets back to normal!
