| OHCC LIVING | MAY 2020 | 37 The club members are surely missing the routine of working out with the guidance of our teacher Christine Alesiani. She guides the class through a warm up, aerobics, cool down, dance routines, balance exercises and weights. And exercise just seems more fun when working with a group. It is wonderful to see our friends and neighbors walking on Leisure Village Way and using the golf course while following the social distancing rules. Some of our residents are finding creative ways to keep physically active with walking at home, exercise videos, etc. What a great way to stay fit and get the endorphins flowing. It will be a happy day when we can resume our classes! In the meantime, we hope that you are healthy. Aerobics We hope all of you are staying well during this trying time. The Chair Yoga classes usually held in the Abravanel Hall every Monday and Wednesday at 11:15 am have been canceled until further notice. The Chair-to-Mat class every Tuesday at 8 am has also been canceled. We will let you know when we will be able to continue these classes in the future. Senior Fitness Club Tai Chi Hello Tai Chi friends… Please check the weekly Clubhouse schedule before coming to class as the regular room may be changed due to the construction in the Clubhouse. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding. God bless! ~ Lai Mei Morning exercise An exercise class is held on Mondays and Fridays, 8 to 9 am in Abravanel Hall. Attendees bring a floor mat and light hand weights for this moderate head-to-toe workout. June Cooper has led this class for many years and does a wonderful job! Come join us. It is free. Just in case: Check with your club contact to confirm meeting place, date, and time.
